A Note About Our Approach
Each grinder that we produce is made-to-order, precision engineered and hand assembled in Chicago. As a result, we use a waitlist and purchasing event approach to ensure quality and craftsmanship.
This approach has earned us the Best New Product for 2024 by the Specialty Coffee Association and the demand has required us to kindly ask you to join the waitlist in order to gain access and secure a place for our next Purchasing event.
Purchasing Process
- When the Purchasing event begins, you will receive an invite to configure your grinder and complete your purchase.
- Grinders are delivered based on the date you join the waitlist and your purchase time/date.

If you choose not to participate, you will be moved toward the front of the waitlist for the next Purchasing event.
After You Place Your Order
You will receive regular production updates from our team as your grinder makes its way through the manufacturing process. These updates can include:
- Overviews of each phase of our production cycle.
- Deep dives into the components of the Z1 and what sets it apart.
- New innovations that may be integrated into your Z1.
- Opportunities to place add-on orders, and make changes or updates to your order
Note: Waitlist tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable as a means of creating a fair and equitable way for our community to secure a Z1 in the quickest way possible.
