As of late 2024, we are pleased to introduce Wera Kraftform tools as the standard toolkit included with every Z1 grinder. Made in Germany, Wera helped create the standard for precision, durability, and ease of use.
From the very beginning, we’ve believed that every Z1 owner should be able to service their grinder confidently, and that starts with having the right tools for the job. With Wera, we’re delivering a toolkit that meets the same high standards as the grinder itself.

Primary Tool: Wera Kraftform Screwdriver (2.5mm Hex)

By optimizing the tool selection, we streamlined the kit from four tools to three, making it more efficient without sacrificing any capabilities.
Why We Made the Switch
Before Wera, we included a custom-branded toolset that matched the premium aesthetic of the Z1. These all-metal tools were carefully selected to complement the grinder, and many customers appreciated their design. As more users put them to work, we received thoughtful feedback that led us to rethink our approach.
What We Learned from Customer Feedback

• Screwdriver Tip Issues: The sharp all-metal tip, while visually refined, sometimes led to stripped screws.
• Storage & Expansion Constraints: The original toolset had to be collapsed in a specific way to fit back into its case, which some users found inconvenient.
